- Vaman Dhauti (Vomiting) – It is also called kunjal kriya. Water upto the level of the throat is drunk and then vomit out. By this, disorders of phlegm and bile are cured. Remember, Gheranda Samhita mentions about this kriya after the meal.
- Vastra Dhauti (Cloth) – Four fingers wide and thin cloth is swallowed and drawn out after sometime. By this all diseases of the abdomen, enlarged spleen, leprosy and skin disorder and disorders of phlegm and bile are cured.
MULA SHODHANA
4. Mulashodhana (Cleaning the rectum) – Rectum is cleaned with water using the middle finger (manually) or stalk of the root of turmeric. This way, apanvayu flows freely when the rectum is purified. Constipation, indigestion and dyspepsia is cured.
