Part 1 Dhauti – Antar Dhauti
Dhauti (dhau – धौ – means to wash). They are of four kinds. 1. Antar Dhauti, 2.Danta Dhauti, 3.Hrid Dhauti and 4.Mula Shodhana.
ANTAR DHAUTI
- Antar dhauti (Internal Washing) – These are 4 kinds:

- Vatasara – (Wind Purification, vata means air) – Drinking Air like a crow, filling the stomach and eject out through rectum.
- Varisara (Water Purification, vari means water) – It is also called Shankhprakshalan. Here is the difference of air replaced by water which is drink multiple times to induce diarrhoea. It is also called Highest Dhauti.
- Vahnisara (Fire purification, vahni means fire) – It is also called Agnisara kriya, as it is increases fire (digestive juices) and is done by pumping out and in the abdomen after exhaling the air.
- Bahiskrita (Bahis means external, krita means kriya of purification)- Using Kaki Mudra (drinking air like a crow), air is filled in the stomach and hold for one and a half hours and then forced it downward the intestines (Shakti Naadi) which are drawn out and washed in the navel deep water and then drawn it inside the abdomen. By this dhauti, it is said that one gets God like body (Deva-Deha).
