Kara Prstha Shakti Vikasaka, as the name suggests (Kara – Hand, Prstha – Back) exercise helps to maintain the healthy function of the back of the hands.

Starting Posture of Kara Prstha Shakti Vikasaka
Keep feet together, the body straight, the arms stretch out in front parallel to the ground, at shoulder level. Palms open and the fingers close together.
Exercise/ Technique of Kara Prstha Shakti Vikasaka
EXERCISE `A’
Move your wrists up and down with force while bringing your first up and down, try to touch the forearm. The arms should be kept as stiff as possible.
EXERCISE `B’
Raise the arms, bent at the elbow. Sideways to shoulder level. The wrists should be moved up and down arms folded at the elbows with palms open, fingers together.

Wrist injured must be careful while doing this exercise.
