The certificates issued by the QCI shall remain valid for the period it was issued. Yoga Certification Board will organise special CYEP for extension/ up-gradation of those certificates.

Yoga Certificate Board conducts Continuing Yoga education Program (CYEP) for renewal of Certificates. CYEP aims at motivating the candidate in career growthof Yoga Professionals. CYEP includes 2 components: ·Assessment of candidates performance during the period of certification·Orientation to strengthen the candidate’s skill as Yoga Professional.
You have to attend CYEP programs for renewal of certificates before the expiry of the certificate. There are two modes - either attending this programme for 2-3 days at any leading authorised Yoga Institutions. Alternatively, you can also attend virtual CYEP through Vide Conference or virtual mode which shall include submitting the report on training of persons conducted along with supporting documents and appearing for exam before the Committee.
You will need to secure atleast 70% marks in the CYEP assessment process for renewal of the certificate and marking scheme will be in the following manner:
If you attend CYEP physically at the yoga institute, then the marks for attending the CYEP will be 50, field experience will be 25 and written test/viva will be 25. But if you attend virtual CYEP, then the marking scheme will be slightly different. then the marks for attending the CYEP will be 30, field experience will be 45 and written test/viva will be 25.
