Nada means sound. Anu sandhana meaning feeling the vibrations. By this pranayama, we create the sound 'A' Akara, 'U' Ukara, 'M' Mkara and combination of the three sounds A, U and M and feel the vibration in respected area.
- Sit in Padmasana or any comfortable sitting position. Ensure that the back should be straight.
- Inhale deeply. Bring your abdomen bulge up.
- When you exhale, create the sound 'A' and feel the vibration in abdomen area. Repeat in 3 to 5 times.
- Then Inhale deeply.
- When you exhale, create the sound 'U' and feel the vibration in chest area. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
- Then inhale deeply.
- When you exhale, create the sound 'M', feel the vibration in head region. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
- Then combination of AUM, inhale deeply create the sound AUM. Feel the vibration middle in upper part of the body. Repeat 3 to 5 times.
This practice calms down the mind by removing the mental anxiety and tension. This also activates the nervous sytem.
