What is our duty when we see people fighting with each other?

I regularly see 2 or 3 people in metro exchanging hot words. At that time I feel awkward when it is not possible to resolve the issue  on either way. What should be our duty spiritually.

Donation of peace is the best option here. Donate vibrations of peace to them so that the environment should become positive and the people in picture should become stable.
