I am a computer professional with sedentary lifestyle. I have constipation since my childhood. To relieve I everyday eat fruits including Papaya and go 1-2 times in a day.
I have started 6 Pranayama recently shown by Baba Ramdev.
I do Bhastrika(3 mins), Kapalbhati(3 mins), Bhaiye(3 mins), Anulom Vilom(5 mins), Bhramari(5 mins), Udgeet(3mins) one after the other for around half an hour.
But after that instead of getting positive results, my health problems increased.
After doing pranayama, next day in the morning, my bowel movement completely lost and for entire day I don’t go to toilet. And my appetite has been decreased suddenly, I don’t feel hungry entire day.
I am not able to understand even after daily pranayama, my constipation has increased and I have lost interest in food?

Sedentary lifestyle is itself cause of many problems.

You may go through the following:

(i) Dietary changes - Avoid non-vegetarian and junk foods/ cold drinks and meals at late nights.
Take meals on time and regularly.  Take drinks at normal temperature that should match your body temperature.  Add roughage in your meals - salads, wheat bran.

Take triphala once a week. Be regular on this.

(ii) Morning Routine: Be regular in taking a glass of water early in the morning before attending to natural call.  The water may be lukewarm for the first few days and during winter season.  It may be normal during other seasons.

(iii) Exercise Routine:

(a)Do some warm ups (not to overstrain) in the morning for 10-15 minutes after attending to natural call.
(b)Tadasana>Katichakarasana>Uttanpadasana>Pawanmuktasana>chakrasana>shavasana (5minutes) - each one minute and without over strain.
(c)Naadishodhana Pranayama (5 minutes with calm mind for first week.  Bhastrika may be added from next week. Only these pranaymas are to be performed.  After you get some results, I may only then be able to suggest other ones.
(d) shavasana (progressive relaxation)

(iv) I presume you are not suffering any other kind of disease and accordingly suggest to increase slighly intake of water (lukewarm) everyday for first few days only. Then you may come to normal routine of intake of water at normal temperature.

(v) Learn meditation or some sort of relaxation techniques to get rid of adverse effects of official pressures/ stress.
