Nadhi Shuddhi pranayama can help, but must remember too many techniques one time can cause more confusion to the brain than relaxation.Slow, steady inhalation and deeper exhalation. Thanks

See Upender, the blood pressure is measured as diastolic and systolic and both should be around 120 and 80 mm of Hg respectively.  Deviation from this range and that too much sounds some warning. First of all check if it was first time or you have this range frequently. If it was first time, check if this was temporary may be because of stress or exertion, then it is o.k. and needs not much suggestions.

But if this is usual coming in the readings, then you should be more careful about the suspected causes i.e. over weight and sedentary lifestyle. In this scenario, you should avoid violent pranayamas like kapalbhati and bhastrika pranayama.

No doubt, naadhi shuddhi pranayama and brahmari pranayama alongwith Om chanting will help you a lot. But you need to focus on reducing weight and transforming your present sedentary lifestyle to dynamic one involving daily physical movements like cycling, walking or gym exercises. In addition, you should improve your diet relying mainly on fruit diets in between meals and quantity of the meals should be reduced which would be compensated by the fruits or sprouts in between. Otherwise, you can consult your qualified nutrionist or dietician.

Naadhi Shudhi pranayama is simple alternate nostril breathing meaning that inhale from left nostrils fully and slowly (after blocking the right nostrils by thumb of the right hand) and exhaling from right nostril (after blocking the left nostrils by two middle fingers of the right hand). This should be followed by inhaling fully and slowly from right nostril keeping the left nostrils blocked and then exhaling fully and slowly from left nostrils after blocking the right nostrils with thumb of the right hand. This is one round.  You should do this pranayam slowly and calmly for 10 minutes daily. For better results, add autosuggestion/ visualisation that you are inhaling positive energy into the body and exhaling negative energy out of the body.

I hope the above helps. I will be happy to further explain if you need any clarifications.
