My son do some pushups and he has pain in shoulders what should i do? his age is 13 yr.

May be the position is not correct.Don't bring shoulders close to the ears.Create space between shoulders and ears.Release neck, elbows down, chest expands and palms press down.Engaging lower belly to lift up towards spine, so lower back is protected.Top of the feet pressing down, face and jaw soft. Blessings

I agree with sister Veena. In the beginning, pain usually comes whenever we start any kind of exercise.  

  1. Hot and cold fomentation over the shoulders area can be used to reduce the pain. 
  2. always consider warming up before any exercise including push ups and always follow up with relaxation
  3. Can take vitamin c supplements for few days
