The eyes must squint in doing so.<\/li>\n<li>When your eyes feel tired or start watering, discontinue the exercise and resume it after a short rest.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Beginners should do for five minutes.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.askyogaexpert.org\/blog\/vyayama-rekha-gati-line-walking\/\">Improve Body Language &amp; Concentration with REKHA GATI (line walking)<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fittexted_for_content_h3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Precaution_of_Netra_Sakthi_Vikasaka\"><\/span>Precaution of Netra Sakthi Vikasaka<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Person with the following conditions should be careful while doing this exercise:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Vertigo<\/li>\n<li>Epilepsy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"fittexted_for_content_h3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Benefits_of_Netra_Sakthi_Vikasaka\"><\/span>Benefits of Netra Sakthi Vikasaka<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>This exercise produces stimulation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nasociliary_nerve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">naso-cialiary plexus<\/a> of the autonomic nervous system, as well as on the fibers of the nerves moving the eyeball and internal structures of the eye.<\/li>\n<li>It improves the muscular power, balance and co-ordination of the various muscles that move the eye-ball.<\/li>\n<li>It also exercises the muscle of the iris which constitutes the muscular diaphragm surrounding the pupil of the eye and is instrumental in increasing or decreasing the amount of light entering the eyes and falling on the retina.<\/li>\n<li>Gazing at one point also helps in putting into action the muscles which are attached around the lens of the eye and whose contraction or relaxation result in changing the shape of the lens, required for accurate focusing of the light on the retina to form a sharp image of the observed object.
